The Satex Row Cultivator is an in-house developed implement designed to meet the demands of modern, cost-efficient and environmentally responsible crop production. Its construction allows precise inter-row cultivation even in advanced crop stages, while protecting the main crop and preserving soil structure.

The machine is equipped with S-spring tines and self-adjusting working units that continuously adapt to uneven field conditions. As a result, the frame can operate higher than the tractor’s undercarriage, allowing the cultivator to pass through tall crops wherever the tractor can go – without the beam touching the plants.

In reduced tillage systems with large amounts of crop residues, each working unit can be fitted with 3 tines, while under conventional conditions up to 5 tines per unit can be used. This flexibility makes the Satex Row Cultivator suitable for a wide range of soil types and farming practices.

The cultivator can also be equipped with a liquid manure application system. In this setup, nozzles powered by a pump apply slurry directly in front of the working units, precisely at the base of the plants. This ensures nutrients are placed immediately in the root zone, minimizing losses and maximizing uptake efficiency.

The Row Star version with star hoes is also available. It is primarily designed to break soil crusts, improving emergence and aeration of the topsoil. In addition, it can be used for fertilizer incorporation, crop stimulation and as a mechanical weed comb.

Inter-row cultivation plays a key role in reducing chemical inputs. Mechanical weed control improves soil aeration, breaks capillary water movement and reduces evaporation. Within reduced tillage systems, it is especially important that the cultivator can handle significant residue levels while maintaining soil biological activity.
